I would like to share with you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The DMV has decided to hold a hearing while we will be in New York for the second year anniversary of Ryo's death, which is a very limited time. Gathering signatures in such a short time helped it a lot. We thank you all from our bottom of our heart. We are a Japanese family who don't know anything about the legal system of the U.S.. Some people have told us that it is too difficult for us to file a suit against the Police Department, and so we were prepared for the lawsuit in such a hard time. In such a situation, it was encouraging that many people raised their voice for us. We should be able to give updated reports to you about the hearing through the blog writer. At the hearing, we are going to face the officer who caused the accident. We will pull ourselves together and try to keep calm. With my feeling of gratitude, Thank you very much.
