Bring back Momentum!

On September 25th, the app Momentum was removed from all District 203 Chromebooks. This app was widely used by my peers and myself to help organize our hectic schedules with it's "to-do" feature. Another benefit of this app was its daily motivational quotes. Every morning, we students crack open our screens, often tired from lack of sleep and unable to focus. However, just seeing the bright backgrounds of Momentum and it's inspirational quotes provides a small boost of confidence to aid us along the day.

Although I understand this may seem like an overreaction on my part, as this only is a computer app, the larger scale problem that I am trying to protest is our District's censorship on countless educational apps and videos. Though I understand that the internet can, and is, a dangerous place, it seems illogical to prohibit aspects such as informational videos on Youtube. In addition to that, the majority of news sites are blocked as well. We are encouraged daily to promote self-initiated learning, but how are we supposed to educate ourselves without the tools to do so?

So as a first step, it would be greatly beneficial to us students if District 203 could reinstate the app Momentum.
