Dissolve the Welsh government for better resource allocation
The Issue
I'm reaching out with a deeply felt concern about the current state of resource allocation in Wales, particularly relating to healthcare and education. As a resident of Wales, it is heartbreaking to witness the significant disparity in funding between our country and England. Our funds for healthcare and education are alarmingly lower than our neighbours, leaving crucial public services strained and communities underserved.
The Welsh government has consistently failed to secure an equitable share of resources, and this has had dire consequences. Our hospitals are underfunded, our schools are struggling, and this directly impacts the well-being and future of our children and families. Welsh citizens deserve better access to quality healthcare and educational opportunities, yet the current governance does not meet these basic needs.
According to the Welsh government budget report, the overall expenditure for healthcare per head in Wales is significantly lower compared to England. In tangible terms, this means fewer resources for medical facilities, shortage of staff, and delays in receiving essential care which eats away at public confidence and trust.
Similarly, educational institutions in Wales are suffering due to limited financial support. Teachers are underpaid and overworked, school facilities are becoming more outdated, and students are deprived of the essential tools they need to thrive in today's competitive world.
We need to dissolve the Welsh government and call for a restructured system that prioritises fair resource distribution and accountability. By doing so, we can work towards rebuilding a society that offers equal opportunities, care, and support to all its members.
Let's join forces to ensure that the voice of Welsh citizens is heard loud and clear. Demand the dissolution of the Welsh government in favour of a governance that will prioritise and appropriately fund healthcare and education in Wales.
