I feel privileged to be able to raise my concerns and advocate for the representation I believe we need. Your support has been crucial in helping me find that voice and making it louder. There are too many stereotypes and myths out there about people with disabilities. I want us to help create the narrative that we are like Disney princesses - we're beautiful and can fight for ourselves.
In the interview, I said that my "life, and journey towards self-love and acceptance, would have been different if she had seen positive representations of people with disabilities in movies while growing up."
