Lately, the LGBT representations in media have increased and most of them, if not all, have the best reviews. Spider-Man is well established as bisexual in comic books, meaning he could be into boys and girls, yet in many other cartoon adaptation, he was mostly "shoved" into relationships with girls. 

However, the main reason to want Parksborn (Peter Parker x Harry Osborn) to be canon in the Marvel's Spider-Man cartoon mainly revolves over character development and writing.

Peter Parker COULD avaliate his own feelings for his best friend after everything Harry and him have been through and this could have some interesting conflict build around Mary Jane Watson's arrival in the show. These two have been through heck and back to save everyone and each other though, and MJ apparently just came over.

It's truly not fair, and to be honest, not really clever writing, to make a character we just met, even if it's not the focus on the show, to get in a relationship with the main, when previous seasons had many episodes and arcs focused on him and someone he truly treasures. Peter Parker has many meaningful relationships, but Harry Osborn clearly matters to him REALLY MUCH!

So yeah, the writers of Maximum Venom, if they're not done with the episode writing already, SHOULD explore this possibility. It'll be meaningful for the writing and fans might enjoy this take.
