The TV show Gargoyles premiered on this day (October 24) in 1994 and the show ran from 1994 to 1997 and Gargoyles recently returned in comic-book form. During the course of the show, Demona, one of the main antagonists, gained the ability to turn human during the day from Puck's magic. Demona used this ability to deceive Macbeth in the episode "Sanctuary" and to create the company Nightstone Unlimited. I understand that the showrunners gave Demona this ability to give her more things to do but I don't think she should have this ability forever (and she already lives forever because of her connection with Macbeth). I don't like how Demona turns human during the day while Goliath and the other gargoyles turn to stone. I want to level the playing field by taking away Demona's ability to turn human during the day!

     In addition, some people might say that we can’t succeed with our goal but they are wrong. A few years ago, the YouTuber Matt Wilkins once said, “You can make a difference. Don’t ever think you can’t.” He said these words to motivate Star Wars Expanded Universe fans to fight for the continuation of the Star Wars Expanded Universe after Disney discontinued the EU and these words also count for our efforts to make Demona turn to stone again during the day. Also, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, killed off Sherlock Holmes in one of his Sherlock Holmes stories and people were so outraged by it that he brought back Sherlock Holmes. A few years ago, Brian, the dog from the Family GuyTV show, was killed off and people were so outraged that they brought Brian back. Therefore, we CAN make a difference.
