It's time for Bruce Harreld to resign from the University of Iowa

As of September 3rd, 2015, the Board of Regents appointed a new president, Bruce Harreld. Despite heavy criticism from UIowa faculty, UIowa students, and community members, along with a vote of "no confidence" from faculty and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, he remains the president of the University of Iowa.
His lack of support is clear, and incredibly drastic. Less than 2.6% of faculty members, and less than 5% of community members found him to be an adequate fit for president of the University of Iowa. Yet, as the fourth and last interviewee, the Board of Regents quickly appointed him.
We, the 95%, want Bruce Harreld to resign from the University of Iowa presidency. In turn, we would like to enact a new, more democratic method of electing such an official, directly taking into account UIowa faculty, student, and community members' thoughts and opinions.
His first public forum was held on February 23rd, 2016, where he showed no concern for our need of a more democratic system. Our demand remains the same. #FireHarreld
