Our beloved and long-serving township trustee has been captaining Jimtown's ship for nearly 20 years, bearing a legacy dating back two centuries. At 76 years old, this remarkable lady remains steadfast in her commitment to serve her community with care, dedication, and unwavering generosity. However, two Republican GOP members, allied with the Libertarian Party, have been subjecting her to unwarranted harassment, levying untruths about her, and engaging in gross misconduct.

These unethical practices should not be tolerated in a setting that demands transparency, fairness, and accountability. Public office must not be treated lightly, nor must it be used as a platform for bullying and the propagation of falsehoods. We are a community centered on values of respect, kindness, and equity, and the actions of these board members go against our core principles.

Today we call on the higher authorities to investigate this harassment case meticulously and take the necessary steps to ensure justice. It is essential to note that their positions do not grant them exemption from the moral, ethical, and legal standards that apply to all citizens. Above all, their actions are undeniably harming the unity and harmony of our community, which cannot be allowed to persist.
