Due to current national standards that govern driving fitness autistic australians are being discriminated against in all states in australia.

They have already passed a drivers test to prove road safety.

These standards will negatively effect autistic drivers as the reasons listed for the changes are completely nonsencical eg. Hand flapping, unable to read social cues.

Making autistic people apply for a medical forms from their doctor, huge fines and encouraging family and friends to narc on them further ostrachises autistic people from the community. People with a disablities dont need another hoop to jump through just to exist like everybody else

Immediate action is important to take now as this law was passed in silent and they probably expected no push back from a margalised community
