The Discover Condo Mgmt (TSCC 2231) has decided that they no longer want our pets to relieve themselves on any of the landscaped grassy areas in and around our buildings.

Many of us are not only confused by the decision but angry because we have never had to deal with this issue and now many dog owners have been arbitrarily fined.

This new “rule” they have implemented is confusing and frustrating.  Living in a condo building with a dog has a littany of challenges, but this one is too much.

We all live here and should not feel like we and our dogs are not welcome.

Discovery Condo Board & Management should provide Discovery tenants & owners multiple areas for their dogs to relieve themselves in peace.

We would recommend to the Discovery Condo management and the board to make the back park behind the pool a designated off-leash dog park. We would request they properly fence the area in, and remedy the flooding problem that has been not rectified in over 2 years.

We would also recommend that the landscaping should be more human & dog-friendly, to avoid damaging gardened & landscaped areas and having to replant/re-garden.  Possibly using stones or pebble gardens with proper drainage and sprinkler systems. 

We must cooperate together to find a solution.  Help sign this petition to tell Discovery Management that we do not accept their arbitrary & confusing rules and that we must find a solution together and not ignore the fact that these buildings have many dogs.
