Hi folks, Thanks to those of you who see the merit in trying to eliminate the number of farmed animals being murdered in zoos for profit. Some vegans debated whether my effort was a damaging welfarist approach rather than the end goal of abolutionism. There was much discussion particurlarly within the 113k strong members group called Vegans United. I was encouraged to see that some people who were initially sceptical about my approach did eventually come around and sign their name in support. So now I am willing to open the petition up for wider public audiences and see what they make of zoos only selling non-violent food. I will share everywhere I think is somewhat animal friendly first (like the DSPCA Dublin) and other non exclusive vegan groups but concerned with animal welfare. Please feel free to try sharing yourselves too. I anticipate most people will agree with the suggestion on principle, then we can put it to Dublin zoo with enough pressure to look into practical implementation. I have used my typical strong language rather than happy euphemisms, but hopefully a hard line approach gets the message across directly.
