If you live in the Bendigo region you might want to attend the next Animal Justice Party 1080 Forum taking place on 24 August 2014 between 2pm to 4pm. Guest Speakers will be Dr Ernest Healey of National Dingo Preservation and Recovery Program, who was largely responsible for achieving protection for dingoes in Victoria, where they are now declared an endangered species and are protected, Professor Arian Wallach who will be speaking about her experience on the land and the results of her years of research on the biodiversity of Australia. She will explain how 1080 affects our beautiful country. I will be attending to present a discussion on the legal framework that supports the use of 1080 and what people should do if they see 1080 being used in a way that is contrary to guidelines.
