BAITING IN URBAN OCEAN GROVE

Despite the fact that APVMA advise that 1080 should not be used in urban areas. This is what is happening: This google map shows houses backing onto a reserve where 1080 baits have been laid. 2 houses are within approx 120 metres of the reserve. Dogs are not "allowed" in the reserve and there is a fence between the houses and the reserve which would probably stop foxes moving into the housing estate. However a bait could be dropped into the housing area. Foxes carry baits for up to 1kilometre.
