Declawing cats is a practice used by people hoping to not get themselves or their furniture all scratched up. Sadly this practice is barbaric for the cats and won't help you either!

Declawing is illegal in many countries such as England, Scotland, Whales, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, France, Germany, Bosnia Malta, Netherlands, Northern Ireland,  Portugal, and Israel. Also Us states and city's have outlawed declawing such as New York City, city's in California and Colorado. So we should outlaw it in Nevada as well.

Declawing causes cats to bite more often and use the litter bin less often. Long lasting physical problems for the cat will occur such as paw pain, nerve damage, back pain, behavioral changes, lameness etc... This is why many veterinarians discourage declawing.

The bottom line is declawing is barbaric, and shouldn't be forced upon innocent cats. That is why we should outlaw it in Nevada.
