It was announced yesterday that no funding cuts would be made for the next year that would affect any of our school crossing patrols. We received a lot of support as it is a cause everyone wants to defend. Children's safety unites us all whatever our political inclinations. Let's just hope this will not just be for one year but that a long term solution will be found which will not compromise our children's safety.
