We want Devon County Council to help protect them by continuing to fund school crossing patrols. You will find out the very latest on our campaign on that page and I will of course keep you all updated too via email. Make sure you share this petition with all your friends all over Devon as it is a Devon-wide petition. We want to show how much we care about this issue, how much we believe that Devon County Council has a duty of care towards the vulnerable. Our children crossing roads on their own are very vulnerable, just as I was 20 years ago when I got hit by that car. The scars I am left with are not just physical. We are hoping that Devon County Council councillors will realize that their constituents care deeply about this issue that it is something every member of the public of all political parties agree on. Because we place our children above politics. After all, they are the Devon County Councillors of tomorrow.
