OCI reissue requirement is NOT a new policy, but is still a threat!

I stand corrected, having learned that the policy has been in place since 2006.However, it seems that it was only recently posted on the Indian embassy websites. Also, evidently the policy has never been enforced at the immigration check points at the international airports in India. However, this makes it confusing. It also poses a threat in that there is no guarantee that it cannot be enforced at the immigration check points in India.
