Indiana Forest Alliance

Jul 6, 2017
Thanks to you, on May 5, 2017, the Veterans Administration announced that it would do a land swap with Crown Hill Cemetery and NOT build the memorial at the expense of the old-growth forest. Together, we saved the woods!
Read a news article here: https://www.ibj.com/articles/63737-va-agrees-to-new-cemetery-location-that-maintains-old-growth-forest. Learn more about who to thank here: https://indianaforestalliance.org/saved/
Now, we will continue to encourage Crown Hill Cemetery to sell the North Woods to the City of Indianapolis to make it a nature park.
Onward! We invite you to celebrate by becoming a member of the Indiana Forest Alliance if you are not already: https://indianaforestalliance.org/join-ifa/. We have many more forests to save : )
We'll plan to stay in touch with you. Thanks again for your amazing passion for this Indiana forest cause.
