PTSD is a serious thing along with illnesses such as Type 1 & 3C diabetes.  Animals are trained to sense when a human is ill with their sense of smell.  Service animals are taught to let their owner know when something isn't right with them.  Veterans go through this every day with not just PTSD, but depression and other types of problems.  Let's get down to the problems at hand.  The VA hasn't been doing what they should and could for veterans with these problems.  I'm one of them.  Instead of saying what the problem is, they just choose to ignore it and hope it goes away.  I have PTSD and Type 3c diabetes which the military admitted to having a hand in it.  Type 3c diabetes is when it is caused due to pancreatitis.  It's almost the same as Type 1 where you have to take insulin except it's not juvenile diabetes where you get it from birth.  Pancreatitis is caused by a number of things.  The number 1 cause is from drinking alcohol.  Another way to get this illness is by gall bladder disease which is how I developed it.  As a veteran with both illnesses, I am eligible for a service dog.  Too many veterans are going without treatment such as this.  Please, won't you sign this petition so that we can make a change?  Thank you so much for reading and signing this petition.
