I'm petitioning those who are able to help get message out because I'm concerned for the safety of my family member’s who is an inmate at the Pulaski State Prison. January 5th, 2022 my family member’s called my spouse in regards to being sexually harassed by a Prison guard there at the prison. My spouse and I attempted to contact a staff member upon my family member’s request, but initially had the wrong number. 
Upon reaching the staff member on January 10th explaining the situation and my family member’s concern for her safety,  she directed us to speak with another authority and took down my spouse’s phone number. 
The next day, January 11th while waiting to hear back from someone my family member’s called in distress around 4:00 pm. She said another inmate came into her cell complaining about her cell mate's bunk and started a fight and bit a portion of my family member’s ear off. My family member also reported that she had been in Medical  since early morning, and was left to clean up her ear and blood off the floor. 
Along with that, she noticed the inmate was not reprimanded or put in confinement; The offender was out walking in the yard like she hadn't done anything.. 
My question is, Where were the guards that were supposed to protect her, when all this was transpiring, and Why weren't the other offender/s put in confinement because the offender was assisted. I was told by another inmate only a guard could have opened up my family member’s cell. My family member’s  also stated that she saw the same inmate attack others at knife point and take their belongings, so what's going on?
This could have been my family member’s life and she will never get her ear back. We're also concerned about her being confined there more time than she should be. That part you'll see when reviewing her case. The inmates are not perfect and have made bad decisions, but they still deserve the right to be treated with respect and dignity, as our country would say, it’s their Civil and Human Rights. 
I would like it if you or whomever you choose, can look into this situation for us because my family member doesn't feel safe after complaining about the guard sexual harassment and filing charges against the offender/s that attacked her. I’ve also had to reach out to the authorities again because a Captain guard some days later snatched my family member and threatened her as though he would allow her to be attacked again. I have not heard back from anyone, but my family member was called into the office and requested that she talked to them first before calling her family. I know if my family member felt, she had a safe and open door she would have ran to them first.

Along with this we're very concerned and would like to know, if she can be moved to a prison closer to her family, so we can pay visit. We’re very concerned that something else may happen to her because of neglect of the facility and staff, if there's no eyes on the situation or intervention made on her behalf and other inmates that are being abused.
