Lomac is currently incarcerated at Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex during this pandemic. He qualifies for the COVID19 release under the CARES ACT. He was recently diagnosed with Stage3 Chronic Kidney Disease, which is the last stage before having to be placed on dialysis at 38 years old. Lomac has been transported back and fourth to court by guards who never wear masks and then placed in holding cells with other inmates who could possibly carry the virus, dangerously exposing him constantly.  I’ve wrote letters to his judge, the Prosecutor, the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Corrections, the Attorney General and the Governor and have continued to be denied. His attorney has filed a formal COVID19 motion and we are awaiting the decision. I need as many signatures as possible to help raise awareness of inmates Human Right as well as his 6th amendment rights being neglected and violated, even when he/they FULLY qualify for release under the CARES ACT that was put in place for his situation.
