Hi,

I received this letter (see image) from Penny Mordaunt MP's office today (had gone into their spam folder so had been missed for a couple of weeks).

I'm posting the letter in its entirety to be transparent and to make sure nothing is lost in translation.

I am very grateful that my concerns have been 'passed on to policy officials in the department' but I would ask why this hadn't happened previously given that I have been campaigning since October 2021.

Regarding Lord Kamall's comments re. NICE -

• I doubt NICE have a clue who I am or how knowledgeable I am on this subject as I have had very limited, if any, contact with NICE.
• The need for a reporting system has been commented on by NICE but it isn't something they can implement themselves, it has to be a Government/Department of Health and Social Care/NHS decision.
• This campaign is not critical of the NICE guideline review or NICE guideline process and so I am unsure why I am being signposted to them.
