In comparison with other petitions on Change.org 7500 seems like a small number but it is a really good achievement (so far)!
- It's a controversial issue that many don't understand.
- Many chronically sick people aren't on social media
- Thinking that non-pharmaceutical 'treatments' cause harm involves a huge mindset change.
Bearing those things in mind, I think we are doing really well!
I'm still trying my hardest to get this petition 'picked up' by local media but, as pointed out above, perhaps they don't understand the issue being tackled. I'll keep trying!
As I said in my last update, now that we have reached the 7500 target, I am now going to contact Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Sajid Javid and NHS England CEO Amanda Pritchard again. This time I will be sending them your petition comments plus anecdotal statement 'evidence' of harms from non-pharmaceutical 'treatments'.
I have received a few 'statements' re harms but could do with a few more. Due to data protection/consent issues, I am unable to use 'statements' submitted previously for other reasons.
UK residents, please email me with your 'statement' if you have been harmed by non-pharmaceutical 'treatments', please also tell me if you have reported these harms to the NHS, CCG, PALS etc.
