I didn’t realise 6th years were immune to COVID-19? It’s clear that the Leaving Cert is more important than our health. This is our 3rd wave of COVID cases all because the government haven’t been taking the proper precautions for a long enough time period. Why are we being punished?

Why is it safe for 6th year students to be in school and not other years? Last time I checked 5th years have exams next year and 3rd years have exams in June aswell. Why aren’t other years in school the 2 days we are off? Why is it safe for 3 days of school but not 5? 

The government need to take responsibility and give clarity to 6th year students. Just because they screwed up predicted grades last year does not give them the right to put our health and our teachers health’s at risk because they don’t want the same hassle this year!
