Why should the current year 10s and 12s have to sit planned exams when the coronavirus outbreak has proven how unimportant these 'qualifications' are in the long run? Make exams an option to reduce the tremendous stress levels which these years are feeling in this situation. The pressure may be off the year 11s and 13s- but what about the unfortunate year 10s and 12s who still have to work as if they were going to be sitting exams in a normal situation? I myself am incredibly anxious about my exams next year, as I feel a lot of pressure as a high achiever to do as well as I would have without this disruptive and terrible pandemic. If I had the option of taking my target grade or taking the exam, it would be target grade without hesitation. We do not have the full set of knowledge, unlike the years above, and are expected to know just as much. This is not fair.
