I am starting this petition to raise concerns about the UK Government not providing 'fair grades' to year 10 students during this years exam season.

I am currently a year 10 pupil at Roedean Moira House. I was due to sit my Drama GCSE this summer, but because of the Coronavirus pandemic I will no longer be doing so. I have Been studying Drama GCSE for over two years alongside the current year elevens. Unfortunately Roedean Moira House will be closing at the end this academic year, meaning I will continue my GCSE courses at a new school. It will not be physically possible for me to start my drama GCSE again as many important elements of the GCSE will have already been completed by those already at the school which also uses a different exam board. There will, therefore, not be any opportunity for me to achieve a Drama GCSE as suggested in the Ofqual guidance document. 

If the ofqual proposal to not grade year 10's comes to fruition, this will leave me in a position where I will be unable to achieve a drama GCSE at all and will not be able to progress into further education pursuing qualifications in the dramatic arts.

It has recently been reported that in Wales, the decision has been taken to include and grade year 10's. This should, I believe also be adopted in England.
