Whereas The Blue Angels reserve the backseat of The Number 7 Jet for specific people as a Key Influencer and media person.
-- The Blue Angels typically provide two backseat flights at each show site for selected personnel. Both riders fly with the Number 7 pilot in the two-seat jet. One of those riders are selected from the Key Influencer (KI) program and the other is a credentialed media representative. The KI program selects individuals who shape attitudes and opinions of youth in their communities. KIs may be experts in their field, public figures, leaders of youth organizations, teachers, guidance counselors or school administrators. They are not always the person at the top of an organization, but rather individuals that have an impact on recruiting youth and/or a specific target audience. Flying these candidates, in coordination with media presence, is intended to promote the Navy and Marine Corps as professional and exciting organizations in which to serve.

Whereas Garth Brooks, since 1999, when he formed his foundation (Teammates For Kids Foundation) making sure that 100% of all money raised goes to the children. That is not just a promise, it's a rule!

Whereas Garth Brooks at every tour stop since 2014 has had Pro-Camps with major athletes to teach them not only to have fun but to have a great attitude and respect for each individual sport or game. To have compassion and love for your teammates and respect your opponents. Garth Brooks has had over 60 of these Pro-Camps in over 60 different cites nationwide and in Canada.

Whereas, Garth Brooks is a big supporter of our military and veterans and his family comes from a long line of people that selflessly signed up to do time in the military. His father, Troyal Raymond Brooks, was in the U.S. Marine Corp. It couldn't have been more prominent at the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Texas when he sung "All-American Kid" with scores of Military personnel in the aisles. (You can watch it here: All-American Kid - 50th ACM Awards)

Given these facts, it only makes logical sense that Garth Brooks should be honored with being asked to ride in the backseat of the Number 7 Jet for The Blue Angels! It surely does not hurt that Garth's favorite number is the number SEVEN, either!

Let's make that happen! Sign this petition today!
