I have received a request to publicise this message from Best Practice Network: In July we offered to provide a personalised confirmation of equivalence between Early Years Professional Status and Early Years Teacher Status that can be used in conjunction with EYPS certificates. The reason that we have offered this is to support EYPs in their conversations with employers about the equivalency of two distinctive awards. There has been some confusion about what this means – to clarify, a statement of confirmation of equivalence does not mean this is a conversion or replacement certificate. Maureen Lee Director
