With effect from this month (September 2013), all existing practitioners with Early Years Professional Status have been conferred the title Early Years Teacher Status by the Department for Education. UPDATE: We have been advised that no provider should be issuing 'new EYT certificates' as this is against DfE regulations. The qualifications while equivalent are different with a differing set of Teaching Standards.
