SimRush started this petition to Department for Culture, Media & Sport

The nationwide closure of schools will leave so many children without the means to properly learn from home. We believe good internet access is not a luxury but a necessity.

We want the Government to reinstate the BDUK Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme funding in England to enable any alternative broadband suppliers across the country to get our kids online.

There are funds still available in Wales and Scotland but the English one was discontinued in 2019. We don’t think that’s fair.

We want Councils to do more than sending out dongles and routers to kids in areas with poor 4G that just won’t work.

We are calling for the Government to do this right now.

Who are we?
SimRush are based in Norfolk and specialise in the supply of business class 4G broadband in rural areas that have little or no mobile phone signal. We have supplied our service to 100’s of home users including teachers, enabling them to carry on working during the pandemic.
