Deny Parole for Violent Rapist - Clifford Brown, Offender # 618667
The Issue
Clifford Brown has been violently and brutally assaulting women for over a decade. Myself and several other of Mr. Brown's prior victims are working hard to show the parole board that he needs to complete his given sentence.
He has an extensive history of threats, coercion, strangulation, rape, sodomy, forced drug use / drugging women and forced pregnancy. The law finally caught up to him and now, at just 5 months time served, he's eligible for early parole on May 2nd. He's earned it for "good behavior".
Let's take a look at Mr. Brown's behavior for just the last few years alone:
- 10/23/2019: Aggravated assault by strangulation in Davidson County Tennessee [convicted - this is the charge the parole hearing is for]
- 5/11/2021: Violent assault in Smyrna, TN; case # 21-002584 [under investigation]
- 7/01/2021: Abduction and kidnapping of an adult from Rutherford County, TN to Putnam County TN. Putnam county police report # 2021-003686 [under investigation]
- 7/02/2021: Violent assault in Davidson County, TN - case # 20210359827 [under investigation]
- 8/12/2021: Aggravated assault, sexual battery and interference with emergency services in Williamson County, TN. Case # 2021-002749. Active court case can be found on the tncrtinfo website by searching for him by name [pending court hearing]
This only outlines what Mr Brown has been actively caught for by police but is not even a remotely accurate representation of the amount of pain and damage he has caused to his victims. Mr Brown violated probation for his 2019 strangulation charge by continuing to violently offend while he was actively attending a batterers intervention program.
Despite the fact that he failed to appear at 2 hearings in Williamson County for his most recent assaults and has an active bench warrant out for his arrest he still "earned" an early parole hearing in Davidson County. He is a dangerous man with no regard for the well being of others and he needs to remain behind bars.
