We the supporters of the Iowa Democratic Party call on Iowa Democratic Party Chairperson, Troy Price, to resign from his post effective immediately.

Mr. Price proved to be incompetent in his position with the failure of the 2020 Iowa Democratic Caucuses.

The following is a list of samples that exemplify Troy's inability to lead the Iowa Democratic Party:

With the "caucus chaos", the "First in the Nation" status may be in jeopardy; costing the state a Billion Dollar Industry. 

The complete failure of the newly released, untested phone App for caucus reporting. 

Failure to properly staff the back-up phone lines: Caucus chairs were on hold for more than an hour, often two, waiting to report caucus results or ask a question. 

Failed to figure out a viable, secure, Virtual Caucus strategy.  

Failure to provide access to the caucuses for working parents, shift workers, special needs and elderly Democrats.

Failure to provide childcare for parents at caucus locations.

Expressed a complete lack of accountability at the end of the caucus night by not making any statements to the press; therefore allowing the media to control the narrative.

Utter failure to train caucus chairs properly; including App usage, rules changes and back-up reporting methods.

Allowing delegate allocation discrepancies by not explaining that non-viable candidates in the first round cannot become viable in the second round.  

The complete media black out for the first 22 hours after the caucuses, then an inability to coherently answer questions by the media during the first press conference.   

A thorough failure to correct any of the grievous errors made in reporting, media relations, damage to the IDP brand and supporter disenchantment.
