CMS Survivor Suspended for Reporting
Another student in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools has been SUSPENDED after reporting her sexual assault. The school investigation claims it was a false report, despite a criminal investigation by CMPD pressing charges. This is unacceptable.
It is clear that this issue is much larger than just my single case or even than just Myers Park. This issue goes all the way to the top and affects the entire school district.
A good friend of mine and fellow survivor Serena Evans has started a second petition asking for an investigation into the entire CMS school district, including the superintendent, board, and the administrations of Hawthorne, Myers Park, and Olympic. Please sign this petition if you can.
We must tell CMS that enough is enough, and survivors will not be silenced any more.
