Demanding the Termination or Resignation of St. Louis School President Glenn Medeiros

Demanding the Termination or Resignation of St. Louis School President Glenn Medeiros
The Issue
This petition is based on available information obtained from a Civil Beat article about the St. Louis School Board of Trustees internal investigation regarding numerous complaints and grievances lodged against school President Glenn Medeiros. The investigation results substantiated that President Glenn Medeiros created an unlawful hostile work environment, retaliated against faculty and staff, lied to the Board of Trustees, engaged in nepotism and misused and abused school resources and assets.
• In the last six months, the school’s principal, dean of students, vice president of operations, chief financial officer and athletic director all resigned in frustration with Medeiros who operates a hostile micromanaging work environment and has retaliated against some of his critics. Two board members also quit this year for reasons related to Medeiros.
• Glenn Medeiros hired his wife, Tammy Medeiros, in 2018. She worked in the school’s business office and at one point in 2020 opened a nail salon in one of the school’s buildings.
• In May 2022, an unauthorized person used Glenn Medeiros’ log-in information to check on several student billing accounts. The billing system, called TADS, contains parents’ tax information and social security numbers. Glenn Medeiros initially lied to the Board of Trustees saying he had accessed the accounts himself, but in fact, it was his wife.
For the foregoing reasons, the undersigned persons demand that Glenn Medeiros immediately resign from his position as President of St. Louis School.
If he refuses to resign, the undersigned persons request that the Board of Trustees of St. Louis School promptly put Glenn Medeiros on administrative leave, take the necessary actions to remove Glenn Medeiros from his position and terminate his contract for cause.
The undersigned individuals represent stakeholders of St. Louis High School that comprise Alumni, Students, Parents of Students, Donors, and Supporters.
