The  independent consultant has now released their survey about the Gay Village and its future.

Make sure it is more than a "fauxsultation" with a Council leadership and planning department, that time and time again, prove they cannot be trusted 

Without this petition, the outcry, political abuse and nastiness that resulted, this survey HERE would NEVER have happened.

Both creators of this survey left Manchester, but I feel it is my duty to my old home to convey to those who remain in Manchester, how important it is that they have their say. I have to say I am happy to have left the city seeing how my old neighbourhood and city is worn down by the same names of too long leaders. 

Politically, in terms of leadership and policy failures, Manchester has become a struggling place in terms of a deficit of transparency, truth, ideas and citizenship. The battle for a better city than their autocratic vision is more than real.

Therefore we are sadly not surprised by MCC leadership targeting the Gay Village to police clubs, sex clubs and safe spaces in a way not mirrored on the heterosexual scene. 

Club Alert have made a petition already signed by thousands, telling MCC leaders (who work with LGBT+ human rights abusers for private luxury property), to back off from what many fear is the eradication of the Gay Village. The policy of implicit and explicit homophobia and LGBTQ+ policy failure has too long been this leaderships status quo. The area has too long been ignored and treated unfairly.

We hope the "consultations" and petitions amount to something for our LGBTQ+ allies in Manchester and are not the authorities usual con.

Those left will have to fight for imagination, ambition, justice and survival for the Gay Village. And that will be hard and starts with you raising your voice.
