I want to start by saying thank you for your time, your work, and your ongoing commitment to protecting our air, water, soil, and health from Resynergi's plastics incinerator.
Moving forward we'll aim to send updates and calls to action 1-2 times per week to help us move as unified opposition. Our goal is to make our actions a UNITED WAVE + ENJOYABLE!

A dangerous new law, SB 131, quietly passed in Sacramento, includes a sweeping exemption from California’s environmental review process (CEQA) for a wide range of industrial projects under the label of “advanced manufacturing.”
This means industries like plastics incineration/processing like we are fighting now, lithium mining, and hydrogen fuel facilities could now be fast-tracked into low-income and environmentally sensitive areas without public notice, input, or review.
2) Help Build Awareness in our community by telling at least 10+ people you don’t know about this project:
There are still many people who don’t know that a plastics incinerator is proposed to start pumping out their toxic emissions into our community.... We want to change that through passing out flyers, having conversations, and building awareness.

Regulatory Oversight: Multiple regulating bodies are now investigating Resynergi’s project and permit including CalEPA and Department of Toxic Substances Control
ASK: please don’t log complaints with the regulating bodies - they are looking into Resynergi and responding to us means pulls them away from their oversight of Resynergi. Instead use your voice to make sure all our elected representatives and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District understand our opposition.
Formal Revocation Ask: Official request submitted to City of Rohnert Park to revoke Resynergi’s permit, to set a date for a hearing.
