Dear Brave Hearts,

When will it stop? Yes, folks! I'm asking yet again, another political opponent of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has been sent to jail for going against him and for supporting the investigation in the death of Gonzalo Lira, while in captivity in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Dubinsky, was detained a few days ago for voicing his praise in the de-escalation of the war between Ukraine and Russia, bringing the region back to normalcy and advocating for Peace.  If you recall another opposition leader and former president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko was also charged with high treason amidst accusations that the Zelenskyy regime failed to provide proof. 

Are you noticing the pattern here? It is becoming beyond obvious that freedom of speech, the exercise of civil and human rights as pillars of democracy are none existent under the current Zelenskyy administration.

With this said, it has been almost a year since, we launched our petition to compel the US State Department and the Trump administration to conduct a formal investigation on the imprisonment, torture, extortion and death of a Hispanic-American (Chilean-American) in Ukraine. Will they do it? So, far the Trump administration provided a proposal to the Zelenskyy administration on how to resolve the conflict and engage in a diplomatic dialog to end the war before Thanksgiving.

In lieu of the upcoming thanksgiving celebration, I would like THANK YOU for your support of our petition and  to request for your assistance and donation to help me continue to advocate for Gonzalo Lira's case, but this time in the halls of Capitol Hill, in Washington DC.

I have decided to run again for public office next year in the hopes to gain additional visibility to raise our voices and protect the civil and human rights and preserve democracy not just in the US, but in countries that embraces freedom of speech and the rule of law worldwide.
