Al started following Mr. Lira's case back in 2022, after he was first arrested at gun point from his apartment. Al later requested to meet with the Ukrainian ambassador to the US to discuss Mr. Lira's case, but was denied for a meeting. He started podcasting and advocating for the release of Mr. Lira on his faceconomics podcast on the grounds of humanitarian, freedom of speech and the preservation of democracy soon after. 

Al's aim is to bring justice, closure and peace for the Lira family, friends and supporters by having the new US administration open a formal investigation on the untimely death of Mr. Lira.

Gonzalo left an aging father, two infant children that will grow up not having their dad around and a widow left to raise two young kids.
