Dear Brave Hearts,

I get it! We all have busy schedules with competing priorities and life often dictates which of the most pressing tasks needs to be done now. As you might be aware, the previous administration and its point man at the State Department, Anthony Blinken, did an interview a few days ago. In his sit down with the press, he mentioned and underlined the need to remain united with Ukraine, but not once did he mention his duty and legal mandate to protect the rights, voice and life of his fellow Americans in Ukraine?

What is he hiding and what needs to be uncovered? Without us pressuring the new administration to investigate Gonzalo Lira's case, the bravery and truth that Gonzalo was trying to share with the world will be forever silenced, just like his life. In Gonzalor Lira's own words " When we forget the names of the important people, when we fail to mention them, they disappear. And they disappear and whatever tragedy has befallen them was for nothing. Don't let that happen"

With this said, do we want to live in a world divorced from freedom of speech and our innate human and civil rights trampled on by those who abuse their power? Should our children and grandchildren be left with a world dictated by evil doers, corrupt and nefarious characters. As I write this call to action, I am disgusted by the lack of transparency and consideration for the human life of those who tried to des-escalate a war that could've been prevented.

We must all take a stand and with one voice declare that evil has no place in our world and collective societies. The best way to fight evil is with TRUTH and we will rally to share Gonzalo Lira's story to bring closure for his ailing father, two infant children, wife and those who loved him. Let us continue to be the voice of TRUTH in this corrupt and evil world.
