I decided to share Gonzalo's story with my audience because he decided to put his safety, comfort and voice in the line of fire....literally! All to de-escalate the war between Russia and Ukraine and save human lives. He paid the ultimate price by informing the world that war is never the answer. 

In today's modern reality people tend to put themselves first and their comfort above all, leaving this world, society and the preservation of democracy in jeopardy.

Let us remember that without the "brave hearts" out there fighting for our freedom of speech, preserving democracy and championing human rights none of us will live in a free society or a peaceful world.

Our campaign for truth, justice and honoring our democratic principles stems from the courage of those who amplify their voice to stand for peace even if they stand alone.

I would like to ask every single one who signed this petition to please share, reflect and amplify the voice of TRUTH, PEACE and DEMOCRACY. 

We may be few in numbers but together by us standing in unity our collective voices will sound the clarion of peace, democracy and goodwill to all men.
