Demand transparency: Our environmental groups must publish national park pesticide use

The Issue

It starts at home. The homes of our endangered wildlife and in the landscapes of our national parks.

Tragically, these areas are not as pure and unadulterated as they should be. Pesticides, used by our national park service, infiltrate these serene sanctuaries. The victims? Our innocent and endangered animals, who unknowingly walk, run, or hunt through areas sprayed with these toxic substances . Our endangered animals cannot shower these toxins off.

They must

Lick.

Them.

Off. as they groom.

They cannot escape this brutal reality: their own homes are silently assaulting them.

The Sierra Club, Audubon Society, and the Wildlife Fund; respected environmental organizations, have the power and responsibility to lift the veil on this hidden threat. Honest, factual, Information on pesticide use in our national parks is a fundamental right of the public. However, it remains hidden. This lack of transparency undermines the claimed mission of these so-called environmental groups to protect and preserve the environment.

Evidence shows that pesticides can have adverse effects on wildlife; hampering reproduction, growth, and overall survival. The detrimental impacts of these toxic substances could drastically erode biodiversity within our national parks unless action is taken. Thus, it is critical that these organizations publish pesticide use data from our national parks. Honestly reporting what is being used would open the path towards more stringent regulations and better decisions that will help preserve these habitats and inhabitants.

Hence, we call upon the sierra club, audubon society, and the world wildlife fund to honor their environmental commitment. Unveil the pesticide use data from our national parks. Ensure future generations can share the natural beauty of these parks sans the silent, toxic killers. The wellbeing of our wildlife and our national parks depends on you.

Sign the petition. Demand transparency. Advocate for the survival of our endangered wildlife.
