For the past two years, the Jewish Federation of El Paso and Las Cruces has not held its required Annual Meeting. At the same time, important questions remain about whether the Federation is following its own bylaws and how our community’s donations are being managed and used.

Our Federation is entrusted with the generosity and resources of our Jewish community. With that trust comes a responsibility to be transparent, accountable, and responsive to the people it serves.

We are asking the Federation to:

• Follow its bylaws and governance requirements
• Hold an open Annual Meeting where community members can ask questions and be heard
• Provide clear transparency and accountability for how community funds are being used

These are not unreasonable requests. They are fundamental expectations of an organization that represents and is supported by our community.

This is about more than asking questions. It is about ensuring that our community has a meaningful voice in the institutions that serve us.

We deserve answers. We deserve transparency. We deserve accountability. And we deserve a voice.
