I, like many others, have noticed the spiderweb patterns of cloud seeding across our nation's skies. It's a sight that has become all too common and raises questions about its impact on our health and environment. People in our communities, including myself, have been falling ill with mysterious ailments. Our beloved pets are not spared either.

Cloud seeding is a form of weather modification that aims to change the amount or type of precipitation that falls from clouds by dispersing substances into the air (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). While it may serve beneficial purposes such as increasing rainfall or reducing hail damage, its long-term effects on populated areas remain largely unknown.

It is estimated that over 52 countries worldwide engage in some form of weather modification programs (World Meteorological Organization). Yet there is a lack of comprehensive studies evaluating their potential health impacts on humans and animals alike. This lack of transparency leaves us in the dark about what we're breathing in every day.

We deserve to know what's happening above us. We demand rigorous safety studies be conducted on cloud seeding over populated areas. We also call for full transparency from those responsible for these operations so we can understand any risks associated with them.
