Please sign this petition to show our school board directors that we, Chichester parents and taxpayers, strongly support Dr. Puckett as our next superintendent. Dr. Puckett has demonstrated exceptional leadership and is the change our schools, staff, and community need. His unwavering commitment, resolve, and dedication over the past seven months have proven he is the leader for our district.

The current search process, conducted without taxpayer input, does not reflect our district's needs. Moreover, certain school board members believe that their elected status grants them the privilege to act without accountability, pushing their agenda forward without any care for our students, teachers, and staff. The proposed candidate, William Haws, was selected through a process marred by internal deals, political maneuvering, and a backroom agenda of a few. 

William Haws is not what Chichester needs. 

Key Concerns about William Haws:

• Over 45% low morale in his current school district.
• Cuts to programs.
• Denial of student internships.
• Previous government audit at his current school district.
• Lack of transparency in his educational values and credentials
• With over 10% higher student enrollment, more than double the minority representation (50%), and nearly 10% more economically disadvantaged students than his current district, Haws lacks the necessary experience for our students and community.
• Does not embody Chi Pride!

The school board must remember they work for us and must conduct all interactions with the highest levels of integrity and ethics. Join us in demanding a transparent and ethical search process by supporting Dr. Puckett.
