Demand Transparency and Fairness in Institutional Abuse Redress Payments not Apologies.
The issue
The recent Million Dollar Plus payout to A Parliamentary Ministerial Staffer in Canberra by the federal government has raised serious concerns about Transparency, Accountability, Fairness, Discrimination and due process. This payment was made without a conviction or Challenge, sparking criticism and allegations of fraudulent cover-ups. It is believed to have been rushed for political purposes. Meanwhile, victims of Decades of institutional abuse were not offered an equivalent or Justified Monetary amount. "$60 thousand standard payout for Sexual Abuse Does not equal Justice."
Instead, Victims were subjected to endless questioning an forced to accept a minimal sum or receive nothing at all By Government Lawyers.
This disparity in redress payments highlights the need for a public inquiry into the institutional abuse redress scheme/payments. I believe that all victims should be treated equally and fairly when it comes to compensation for their suffering, "Not an insincere FAKE Apology. The prime Minister office and state premiers office Hang up when complaints Are made just Days before their FAKE apology.
Forgotten Australians Redress Monetary Compensation for Institutional Sexual, Physical and Mental Abuse Suffered over Decades, We are Calling for an immediate independent Public inquiry or Royal Commission into Payouts made to forgotten Australians for equal Justice to be given to Survivors, Past, Present and Emerging.
The Royal Commission Failed in Delivering a Fair outcome and Fair Compensation payment option for Victims of Dual/Separate states institutional sexual, physical and mental abuse, Which was Biased, unfair, prejudices against and Discriminatory towards such Victims. Ignoring their circumstance's in favour of the Government. the single payment for a dual victim was less than a single state victims payout , manipulated by the royal commissions failure to acknowledge Both states are accountable separately therefore Payouts should be doubled under the system.
The Payout to the Federal Parliamentary Ministerial Staffer has been "Well Publicized in the Media and has raised serious Discrimination issues " for Victims of institutional abuse as to Fairness of compensation received and offered by State and the Federal governments.
We Demand the Following From Federal and State Governments.
1.Duel State Victims of Sexual, physical and psychological abuse redress payment be doubled, Backdated and reviewed because the abuse and crime was committed by Separate state governments, not single payments as offered under the current scheme.
2.Victims cost be Separate to Lawyers fees who chose personal claims.
3.investigation into unethical lawyers/law firms who overcharge and drag claimants cases out for their financial Benefits." This was the governments pledge but ignored"
3a.Lawyers who have dragged cases out longer than 2 years to reimburse victims for overcharging. and held for Fraud.
4.Redress Payments Lifted inline with today's Monetary claims. From a cap of $150 thousand to an increase of $300.thousand for sexual abuse and $200 thousand for any physical or physiological abuse endured over decades. These Payment to include topping up the Monetary amount already paid to Victims who were forced or Bullied into taking what they were offered.
5.Abuse Claims Not limited to claims only committed in institutions, But to the abuse of power delivered by states to victims from authoritarian organizations instructor's or otherwise while under State Control.
6. Redress Payment to exclude payments based on race, but the crime committed.
7.The current outdated victims of crime monetary payments to be bought in-line with today's cost of living.
Moreover, it is crucial that these payments are made transparently and with due process to ensure justice is served appropriately. The lack of transparency surrounding The federal parliamentary Staffer Monetary Compensation Payout raises questions about its legitimacy.
I/We call on our Australian state and federal government officials to launch an investigation into this matter immediately. We demand fairness in compensation for all victims of institutional abuse including over charged lawyers costs returned to victims.
Please sign this petition if you believe in justice for all victims of institutional abuse regardless of their circumstances or status.
