As a concerned resident of Two Rivers, I am troubled by the gate installed on Patuxent Ridge Road between Dodder Way and Sunny Ridge Drive. This gate was erected without any clear explanation about who authorized or paid for it and why. Moreover, it poses a potential safety risk to our neighbors in Phase 3 by potentially preventing access for emergency vehicles - both Fire and EMT.  We know that at least some of those vehicles do not have a 'key' to the gate.

We are requesting that the Homeowners Association (HOA):

1) schedule a vote on whether this gate should be removed or provide an explanation as to why they will not do so. 

2)  Provide clarity about what reserves have been set aside for if we are sued for blocking emergency vehicle access to Phase 3. The HOA should either provide assurance from our attorney that we do not need reserves for this purpose or the HOA should explain what provisions have been made, so we do not have to pay a substantial unplanned for assessment in the future.

We urge you all - residents of Two Rivers - sign this petition demanding transparency from our HOA regarding the Patuxent Ridge Road Gate issue and action towards resolving any potential safety risks associated with it.
