We, as a community, find the efforts of the Bridgeport Community Fund to be dissatisfactory. While they hold great events for the children of our town and for holidays, the playground is a safety hazard. The community fund is well aware of the playground's condition, yet nothing has been done to rectify the issues. The equipment is 30 years old and falling apart.

We demand that Bridgeport Community Fund be transparent, hold public meetings, and show spending reports. If they refuse, we insist they relinquish their seats and allow other members of the community to step in. If these terms are not agreed upon by board members, we will seek legal advice and actions to combat this nonprofit committee.
