JK Rowling has donated significantly to such organizations, and every dollar made from this campaign might contribute to further harm against the transgender community. In 2021 alone, donations from public figures helped such groups gain traction, often resulting in legislation that undermines the rights of transgender people.
Therefore, to counteract the potential harm caused by this partnership, we demand that Tim Hortons donates an equivalent to a minimum of 150% of the profits earned through the sale of Harry Potter products to organizations that advocate for and support transgender rights.
