Demand the U.S. Government Stop Exploiting Venezuela and Address the Humanitarian Crisis
The Issue
We, the undersigned, demand that the United States government immediately stop backing, funding, and normalizing the oppressive interim government of Venezuela.
We demand an immediate end to the lying, dangerous rhetoric claiming that "the people are happy." The Venezuelan people were suffering severely before, and they are suffering an unimaginable nightmare now following the catastrophic June 2026 doublet earthquakes.
The White House boasts that the current Venezuelan regime consists of our "friends" and "best friends." This cozy alliance must stop. This rhetoric is actively promoting death and compounding human suffering. While the administration claims victory for removing Nicolás Maduro via Operation Absolute Resolve, the reality is a complete betrayal of the Venezuelan people: the U.S. removed one man but left the exact same corrupt, oppressive power structure in place.
By installing and backing Maduro’s former Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, the U.S. has chosen to partner with the very same individuals who have spent years killing, starving, and systematically suppressing the citizens of Venezuela.
The consequences of this "friendship" are deadly:
Militarized Repression: While everyday citizens dig through earthquake rubble with their bare hands to find the thousands still missing, this U.S.-backed government uses military checkpoints to block grassroots volunteers and life-saving international aid.
Political Prisoners: Dissidents and everyday citizens are still being locked up as political prisoners for speaking out against this opaque transition.
Corporate Laundering: While the U.S. government celebrates billions of dollars in financial returns from seizing and exploiting Venezuela’s oil infrastructure, the actual people of Venezuela are left with nothing but severe resource shortages, zero electricity, and empty hospitals.
The United States is financing and whitewashing the executioners of the Venezuelan people in exchange for oil control. We will not allow the word "freedom" to be used to cover up state-sponsored misery and corporate plunder.
We demand that the U.S. government:
Immediately cease political, financial, and military support for the Rodríguez regime and stop treating the oppressors of Venezuela as "best friends."
Halt the false, state-sanctioned narratives that hide the reality of ongoing public anger, political imprisonment, and mass casualties.
Condition all bilateral agreements on the immediate release of all political prisoners and the total removal of military blockades stalling earthquake rescue efforts.
Redirect focus away from oil extraction metrics and toward unobstructed, non-militarized humanitarian relief delivered directly to local communities.
