We are a community in distress. Our children's second home, McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA, has been under the leadership of Regina Montgomery for 14 years. However, her tenure has not been marked by strength and protection that we expect from a school principal. Instead, it is characterized by failure - failure to us as parents and to our children.

Regina's leadership style has failed to instill respect among students and staff alike. Her inability to act as a strong authority figure has resulted in an environment where our children do not feel safe or protected. This is unacceptable.

The trust once placed in Regina by parents like us has eroded over time due to her lackluster performance and disregard for the well-being of our children. The role of a principal goes beyond administrative duties; it involves being a leader who can guide young minds towards their potential while ensuring their safety.

We believe that 14 years is more than enough time for someone to prove their worthiness for such an important position. Yet all we have seen from Regina Montgomery is disappointment after disappointment. McEeachern has had 3 gun related incidents occur in the last 5 months not to mention the uncontrollable fighting that happens daily. 

Therefore, we call upon the relevant authorities at McEachern High School and within the local education system to heed our plea: remove Regina Montgomery from her position as principal immediately.
